Professor Mehrabian combined the statistical results of two case studies and came up with the now famously used rule that communication is 7% verbal and 93% non-verbal

The non-verbal component consists of body language (55%) and tone of voice (38%)

When connecting with people in any sphere of life let alone in business, body language plays a powerful part in how this interaction goes

It’s obvious that body language when actually in front of a person plays an important role but little thought is given to how body language plays an important role when not physically in front of someone too
